This 4 Days Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee tracking safari trip takes you through the villages of pearl of Africa. The safari begins from Entebbe or Kampala to Murchison Falls national park, chimp trekking at Kaniyo-Pabidi, stop overs at Ziwa rhino sanctuary, visit top of the falls, take en-route game drive to spot the big five and other wildlife and birds, take boat cruise and a lot can be experienced on this wildlife safaris which is organised by African Adventure travellers a company with experts in tourism profession.

Among the animals and birds include Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Elephants, bush backs, warthogs, Blue Turacos, Black casques hornbills, Black and White Hornbills, Yellow Backed Weavers, Wagtails, Cuckoos, Woodland Kingfishers, Flycatchers, Manikins respectively.

Day 1 :» Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park.

Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our guide. Then transfer to North-west through famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route lunch at Masindi hotel or New courts hotel and then proceed to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!

Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge, Nile safari lodge, Chobe safari lodge (High end), Sambiya River lodge, Murchison River lodge (Mid-range end) or Red chilli rest camp (Low end facility).

Day 2 :» Dawn game drive and Boat ride.

Dawn game drive via the Nyamsika plateau, enjoy the view and you may see some of the big five like (elephant, lion, buffalo and giraffe), warthogs, bush back, water buck, hartebeests and many more. Return to lodge for refreshment, breakfast and lunch, then after prepare for a boat trip on placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the fall.

En route you will see hippos, crocodiles, water buck and a wide variety of birds like the unusual shoe-bill stork pelican bee-eater, egret and heron. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Take pictures of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Return to Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 :» Morning game drive in the Murchison park.

After morning cup of coffee go for another morning game drive to more animals and variety of bird species. Thereafter return to lodge for refreshment, breakfast and lunch. Prepare for afternoon boat trip of the Victoria Nile Delta area into Lake Albert and this cruise variety of animals and bird-life species can be observed, that is the crocodiles, Hippos, rare shoe bill stork, pelican bee-eater, egrets, vultures, ibis, wagtail among others respectively. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 :» Chimp trek Budongo Forest – Kampala

Early morning breakfast, there after take an 8 kilometres en-route game drive to Budongo forest to experience chimpanzee trekking in the forest with a knowledgeable guide. Lunch at Kaniyo Pabidi. Budongo is also known for its many plant and bird species.

After all these life memory experiences embark our safari vehicle back to Kampala and after our guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport and get you home flight or flight to your next destination.
