We shall then continue to catch the 2:00pm vehicle ferry that crosses to Paraa. On reaching the mainland, we shall drive to the top of the falls. Here the adventure becomes reality, as you move closer to the falls you will hear the roars of the waters in the devils’ cauldron, you will feel the fresh splashes of the water as you move on the slippery rocks. You will also see how the waters make a permanent rainbow amongst the rocks. It is breathtaking.
After the tremendous scenery, you will head to Paraa lodge where you will have lunch. After which we shall head out for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile towards the the bottom of the falls. While on the boat, you will see numerous water birds, the weaver birds and their nests. You will see the Nyamusika cliff that is soft that birds drill and make little nests and stay there. You will also see elephants, giraffes, hippopotamus, crocodiles, waterbucks and other animals as they come to the shores to take water. In the water, the hippos are the majority.
You will then reach the bottom of the falls, and see the side view of the falls as they pour down. Here you can go off the boat for pictures on the rocks as the falls are in the background. We shall then sail back to Paraa and freshenup, have a cup of tea, swim and enjoy the beautiful view of the wilderness.
