2 DAYS ROAD TRIP TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.
Have a chance to enjoy what wildlife has to offer, the vegetation, animals, birds most of all the dramatic falls. Murchison falls national park being Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area it is also an all round park. You get to see four of the big five that is the lion, buffalo, elephant and leopard. Other animals include; giraffes and patas monkeys that are only found here and Kidepo valley national park. You won’t miss the unique birds while at the boat launch and some at the game drive.

The park has fascinating vegetation like the borassus palms, acacia trees and reverine woodlands in the north, while woodland and forest patches prevail in the southern part of the park. Activities that will be done; a visit to the top of the falls, launch cruise, game drive.
DAY 1
KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK. After your breakfast, you will be picked from Kampala at 7:00am. Then head to Masindi through Bombo-Luwero-Nakasongola we shall go through Kichumbanyombo gate which is in the south of the park. We shall be in time for the 2:00pm vehicle ferry that crosses to Paraa. We shall then head to the top of the falls where you will experience the rainbow made by the waters of the falls as they hit the rocks in the Devil’s cauldron. You will then head to Paraa for lunch. After lunch you will have a boat cruise on the open waters of the Nile for about 3hours. While there you will see different birds and animals that come to the shores for water. After the cruise, you will head back to the lodge to relax and prepare for day 2.

DAY 2
GAME DRIVE, RETURN TO KAMPALA. We shall be up early for the game drive. After breakfast, we shall set off to see the early animals like the hippos moving to the shores of the Nile where they spend their day. We see the giraffes, herds of buffaloes, elephants, monkeys, orimbi, kobs, antelopes and more. You will not miss seeing more of the birds mostly the Abdim’s stork that usually migrate from the Middle East. We shall drive through the park and exit through Wankwar gate in the North. We shall have a glance of Karuma falls on our way via Pakwach road, and continue to Kabalega Dinners for lunch. We shall then embark on our journey to Kampala.

What should be carried?
Cool clothes, sunglasses, sun hat, sun screen, light long-sleeved shirts, long trousers, good insect repellant, flashlight with extra batteries and a power bank for your cameras.
