1DAY NGAMBA ISLAND

Mgahinga is among the famous Virunga ranges that stands 3,474metres high. It harbors various wildlife that includes vegetation consisting afro-montane, bamboo being the main and harboring different species of animals including the endangered golden monkey. The name Mgahinga is derived from the word ‘Gahinga’ that means the piles of stones in the local lingo. It lies between the mountains Muhavura and Sabinyo. Murchison falls is the largest and oldest park with four of the big five present. It has a variety of nature and wildlife that includes the marvelous waterfalls, the grasslands, acacia trees, wetlands and the various animals. The park occupies 3840km it is located in Buliisa district the west and Nwoya in the north, 300km northwest of Kampala. It takes atleast 5hours to get there. The climate there is hot and tropical, it has two rainy seasons that is April and November and the temperatures are uniform because it is close to the equator. (more…)

GORILLA-HARAMBE KILLED TO SAVE LITTLE BOY’S LIFE.

Harambe was a 17years old 400pound gorilla in Cincannati zoo and botanical garden found in the state of Ohio, United States. The boy got in contact with the male gorilla by climbing through a barrier around the gorilla enclosure and fell in a shallow moat about 12feet. The gorilla initially seemed to be protective of the boy but must have been disrupted by the screaming. Videos posted on social media show Harambe dragging the boy through the moat before disappearing from the view. (more…)

Uganda- North Korea Relationship End

Following their long term relationship since the early 70’s.Uganda and North Korea relationship finally has come to an end. Yesterday 29th 05 2016 in the presence of Uganda’s President Yoweri Kagutta Museveni and Korean president Park Geun-hye at state house Entebbe. Park arrived in Uganda on 28th 05 2016 and this was her second leg African tour after Ethiopia where she addressed the African Union. Park is promoting business and trade opportunities in Africa, she was received by foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda and South Korea established diplomatic ties in 1963.
